There’s nothing like the rush of adrenaline I feel when I’m around a helicopter landing. As a professional photographer I find myself in a lot of exciting situations. This time it was an assignment for Denver Health Medical. I was hired to create a number of images, including of their air medical team.
The team had better things to do (you know, the whole saving lives thing) so I had a very short window of time in which to execute my client’s shot list. Additionally, an in-house video production crew arrived without advance notice, cutting my already short time in half. And I had five models, two client contacts, and an assistant to manage and communicate with.
This shoot reminded me of why I love my job so much—it’s cool and full of challenges.
