The Beauty And Grit In Hay Baling (story)

The Beauty and Grit in Hay Baling (story)

My dad spent a lot of time on a farm in Wisconsin growing up and seemed to try to turn every yard of our suburban homes into one when I was a kid. I got put to work often raking dirt and picking rocks, something I hated then but now enjoy. So this year I was thrilled to make friends with a family that owns a hay farm. They let me come out and soak it in during a recent bailing. Below are images showing the story. I created portraits of each of these folks as well and will publish those in a future post.
