In my photography assignment for Denver Health Medical, I had the unique opportunity to document the dynamic environment of an air ambulance crew on the helipad. With the goal of showcasing the professionalism and urgency of medical responders, I captured the team in action as they attended to a patient. Additionally, I created team portraits of the operating room (OR) team within the hospital’s OR, highlighting their collaboration and dedication. Using a strobe light to enhance the scenes while maintaining a documentary style, I aimed to convey the intensity involved in emergency medical care. This assignment not only fulfilled a personal vision I had for years but also showcased the critical role of healthcare professionals in life-saving situations.
